Integrated Child and Adult Psychoanalytic Training Program

  • Duration: 4–10 years
  • Format: Evening (New York) and weekend (DC) classes
  • Curriculum: Contemporary Freudian theory, technique, development, and clinical practice
  • Clinical Requirements: Personal analysis, supervised clinical work
  • Eligibility: For licensed psychoanalysts: a masters degree in any field; for clinical candidates in psychoanalysis: a license, or path to a license, in a clinical field whose scope includes psychoanalysis (such as social work, psychology, or medicine)

Child and Adolescent Specialization

  • Duration: 1–2 years (in addition to integrated training)

  • Curriculum: Child development and psychoanalytic technique for work with children
  • Clinical Requirements: Supervised child cases
  • Eligibility: Enrollment in or completion of integrated psychoanalytic training

Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program

  • Format: Evening classes
  • Curriculum: Psychoanalytic theory and technique applied to psychotherapy
  • Eligibility: Licensed mental health professionals
